Catherine Bell is a tall athlete who was born in London. The actress was able to move with her mom into Los Angeles when she was as a young child. She dropped out of college to pursue her modeling career in Japan despite having planned to study premed in school. After returning in L.A. after doing a couple of commercials, and appearances in television shows and minor film work. The actress was the Isabella Rosellini's naked body-double in the film Death Becomes Her in 1992. This led the actress to get acquainted with her soon-to-be husband (Adam Deason) at the set of the film. After a guest appearance on the NBC show JAG she sent a letter to the producers of JAG expressing her interest. In 1996, JAG moved to CBS and she was a part of the show's cast as major Sarah "Mac" Mackenzie, as a sidekick for Lieutenant. David James Elliott played Commander Harmon "Harm Rabb." In real life she is an accomplished kickboxer. The year 2000 saw her was a part-time actress along with Casper Van Dien as Thrill Seekers in a sci-fi drama.
