Hayley Orantia is an American singer, actress and performer. Many people recognize the name as Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. She is to be primarily a musician. According her, is the very first thing she is passionate about. She started playing with the instrument at the age of nine. As she grew to the age of 12 the music she was playing took an adolescent turn and she began professional training. She began songwriting when she was 13 and was 14 when she released her debut album of covers songs. It hasn't turned back ever since. Orrantia was born in the USA, yet has Hispanic heritage. Though she grew up speaking only English and was never in Mexico she's very proud of her Hispanic roots. She tries to maintain it through becoming fluent in Spanish and creating songs in the language. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish which she recorded is an example. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Her YouTube video was chosen and she got four "yeses" (or votes) by the judges at The Seattle audition. Though she initially auditioned as a solo artist, in "Hollywood Week", she and three other female singers, were placed into groups for the remaining part of the auditions. The live shows were held during the week of 5th.
