Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is a CrossFit pro athlete. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it as well. Annie is the first female who is a winner at CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished second. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit competitor and media star is one of the CrossFit athlete from Iceland. Her fame was boosted by her being the first woman to have taken home the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012 In addition, she is known for being the winner of both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born in and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. Since a young child she's been a competitive athlete and fitness fanatic. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir competed in the CrossFit competition in California. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 (by in 2021). She's 5' 7" tall and weighs about 67 kg. Annie began CrossFit Training in California at the age of 2009. She was successful in her first competitions and finished within the top 10 in the rankings. However, she was unable to earn any titles, but ended up in 11th place in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished second in CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. It was in her second year that she took part again in CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she became the very first woman to be awarded CrossFit Games. Annie won again the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games at once. Silver medals were awarded in 2014. In 2021, she won the Bronze award at the CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a trainer and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000.
