Zoe-perry

Perry was born the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. On the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as as seen through flashback) Her mother portrayed Jackie Harris in two of Perry's early TV appearances. She was not allowed to begin acting by her parents until she reached adulthood, as they feared the strain it might create. Perry confessed that she wasn't comfortable acting in high school. She began doing it to connect with new people in Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. After graduating Perry went in New York to search for TV work, landing a few roles on series such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent However, she was stricken by homelessness and brought her back to California where she found theatre work. Her mother and she appeared on Broadway together for the play The Other Place, in 2013. In the year 2015, she was alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning Drama Anna Christie. It is part of the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry played a part in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. In 2017, she played her own recurring part on the ABC political thriller Scandal starring her father. She was also cast in her role on the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger than Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mom. The part was offered an audition to the actress, regardless of the fact that she has a family tie to the character.
